From 1 May 2011, under the Freedom of Information Act 1982 (FOI Act), Geoscience Australia is required to publish information in documents provided in response to FOI requests. The publication of such documents will be done within 10 days of the decision being made. Geoscience Australia will be aiming to publish an update of the log every Thursday.

• The only exemptions will be information which falls within the classifications listed in Part IV of the FOI Act, Divisions 1,2 and 3.

There may be documents in the disclosure log that are currently unavailable or are in an unaccessible format. If the information is not available on the website or you are unable to access the document directly through the list, interested individuals should contact the Strategic Planning and Compliance team for further information.
